I have now seen Mr Farid Ahmed several times as an outpatient, where he perfomed a lymph node biopsy to preceed my big operation which he, along with another surgeon, Mr Cunnick successfully carried out three weeks ago. His manner at all times has been pleasant and attentive, his expertise invaluable. I have felt completely safe and confident in his care andI would wholeheartedly recommend him as a result of my personal experience.

Reba begum, He is a very good doctor. The very best at his field. He has taken very good care of me and I'm happy to have him as a doctor. His behaviour was very good and made me feel very comfortable. I am very happy with his treatment.

I was feeling very aprehensive as I have received less than the best from other consultants at this hospital, but Mr Ahmed put me at ease straight away and actually listened to me. He asked the right questions and seemed to care about me as a whole person not just a number or a paitent to move on quickly. Despite the surgery running late he spent time to reasure me and showed interest in helping and encouraging me to improve my health. For the first time I left the hospital feeling cared for.

I can’t praise Mr Ahmed too highly. In spite of seeing two lists of patients, to cover for an absent colleague, he was warm, caring, professional and most of all kind. He carefully explained the details of my impending operation. He listen to my concerns, explaining details and ensuring that I was fully informed.
